After a bizarre life of crime in Brooklyn, Jan disappeared to Northeast Ohio to escape the FBI’s Most Wanted list. She figured nobody notices the janitor, so she cleaned buildings under a fake identity until she landed a job at the Akron Schoolhouse and Laboratory.

 

During a routine cleanup, she mixed the wrong chemicals with an experiment from the Laboratory. The explosion killed her instantly.

 

Unfortunately for everyone else, it happened during the Schoolhouses’ Raising the Dead class. Now permanently undead, but eternally grateful for this second chance at life, Jan roams the halls of the Schoolhouse and Lab, wearing her headphones, and dancing like she’s the only one on the property.

 

She leaves messes instead of cleaning them, ignores anyone trying to stop her, and treats every scream like it’s just another song on her cassette.
